The office is at 34 Moo 6 on Soi Ruam Phatthana 5, off Ruam Phatthana Road in Lam Toiting, Nong Chok — the far eastern edge of Bangkok. BY CAR: From Suwinthawong Road (Highway 304) follow the signs for Nong Chok, turn onto Ruam Phatthana Road, then into Soi Ruam Phatthana 5 and continue about 1.6 km to the office. From central Bangkok allow 60-90 minutes; from Min Buri or Lat Krabang 20-35 minutes. BY GRAB/TAXI: Search 'สำนักงานขนส่งกรุงเทพมหานครพื้นที่ 4' or 'DLT Bangkok Area 4'. Tell a taxi driver 'Kor Sor Lor Nong Chok' (ขนส่ง หนองจอก). PUBLIC TRANSPORT: No rail station is nearby. The Pink Line's Min Buri terminus is the closest station and still needs a Grab ride out to Nong Chok.

Area 4 is the eastern area office. Its listing names seven districts for vehicle registration: Khan Na Yao, Khlong Sam Wa, Bueng Kum, Min Buri, Lat Krabang, Saphan Sung and Nong Chok.
Search results often call it 'DLT Min Buri' because Min Buri is the district most of its users live in — but the building itself is further east in Nong Chok, off Ruam Phatthana Road. Check the pin before you set off.
For a driving licence you can apply at any office in Thailand. If you live around Lat Krabang, Suvarnabhumi, Ramkhamhaeng or Min Buri, this is the office that saves you the cross-town trip.

In Bangkok the certificate is issued at Immigration Division 1, Chaeng Watthana (Government Complex Building B, 120 Moo 3, Chaengwattana Road Soi 7, Lak Si; Mon-Fri 8:30-16:30, queue tickets stop at 15:30) for 200 THB. It is the strictest office in Thailand: you need a TM.30 filed after your latest entry plus at least one completed 90-day report, and it does not issue certificates to tourist-visa or visa-exempt entries — those applicants use an embassy letter instead. Allow 1-5 business days.
