The office is in Suan Phak Soi 4, off Suan Phak Road in Taling Chan, west of the Chao Phraya. BY CAR: From Ratchaphruek Road, turn onto Suan Phak Road near the Toyota service centre, then left into Suan Phak Soi 4 — the office is inside the soi. From central Bangkok cross the river via the Rama VIII or Pinklao bridge and follow Borommaratchachonnani Road to Ratchaphruek; allow 30-50 minutes. BY GRAB/TAXI: Search 'สำนักงานขนส่งกรุงเทพมหานครพื้นที่ 2' or 'DLT Bangkok Area 2'. Tell a taxi driver 'Kor Sor Lor Taling Chan' (ขนส่ง ตลิ่งชัน). PUBLIC TRANSPORT: No rail station is within walking distance; take a Grab from the MRT Blue Line stations on the Thonburi side (Bang Khun Non or Fai Chai) or from the Taling Chan Red Line station.

Area 2 is the west-bank area office. Its listing names Taling Chan, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok Yai, Bang Phlat, Bang Khae, Phasi Charoen, Nong Khaem, Thawi Watthana and Phra Nakhon as the districts it handles vehicle registration for.
Driving licences are not tied to a district — if you live in Pinklao, Bang Phlat, Bang Khae or anywhere on the Thonburi side, this office spares you the crossing to Chatuchak.
The office sits inside a soi (Suan Phak Soi 4) rather than on a main road. Follow the map pin, not the road name — first-timers regularly overshoot on Ratchaphruek Road.
Doors open at 7:30 per the listing. Arrive at opening for the shortest wait, and book through DLT Smart Queue where possible.
There is no BTS or MRT station within walking distance. Drive or take a Grab.
Bring your medical certificate from a clinic and two copies of each document. Do not rely on services inside the compound.

In Bangkok the certificate is issued at Immigration Division 1, Chaeng Watthana (Government Complex Building B, 120 Moo 3, Chaengwattana Road Soi 7, Lak Si; Mon-Fri 8:30-16:30, queue tickets stop at 15:30) for 200 THB. It is the strictest office in Thailand: you need a TM.30 filed after your latest entry plus at least one completed 90-day report, and it does not issue certificates to tourist-visa or visa-exempt entries — those applicants use an embassy letter instead. Allow 1-5 business days.
