THE OFFICE LISTING'S DIRECTIONS: from Route 233 in front of the Nong Khai City Pillar Shrine, turn left onto Sun Ratchakan Road, continue about 450 m, turn left at the Land Transport sign and drive straight on until you reach the office. BY TUK-TUK/TAXI: ask for 'Kor Sor Lor Nong Khai' (ขนส่ง หนองคาย) or 'Sun Ratchakan' (ศูนย์ราชการ), the government centre.

Nong Khai Provincial Immigration is at 106 Moo 7, Mi Chai, Mueang Nong Khai 43000 (042-990-935), according to its own website. That is the provincial office, not the immigration checkpoint at the Friendship Bridge. Fees run 200-500 THB depending on the office.
