Office No. 1 is in town on Thep Yothi Road. From Chayangkun Road at Chayangkun Soi 4, go about 800 m and turn left onto Uplisan Road, then after about 1.2 km turn left onto Thep Yothi Road, make a U-turn and the office is on your right.

Office No. 2 is on the city bypass at Kham Yai. From Makro Ubon, take the underpass beneath the roundabout, pass Ban Kan Lueang market, and turn left after about 750 m.

The province has district branches too, including Det Udom and Khemarat. Our map pin shows Office No. 1.

Book through DLT Smart Queue before you go if you can.

Get your medical certificate at a clinic or hospital beforehand, and bring two copies of every document plus your passport, visa page and entry stamp.

Dress modestly: no sleeveless tops, very short shorts or flip-flops.

Residence Certificate for This Office

A licence application needs proof of your Thai address, usually a residence certificate from Immigration. Ubon Ratchathani Immigration is not in Ubon city. The Thai embassy's office list (updated April 2024) gives 189 Moo 10, Nikhom Sang Ton-Eng Lam Dom Noi, Sirindhorn district (045-366-000), out towards the Chong Mek border. Phone before making the trip. Fees run 200-500 THB depending on the office.
